This is an 10X8 oil Painting on canvas board of wild flowers growing among the aspens that is typical of the Gunnison country. The trunks of aspen trees are all very individual and the scars on them are a history of their different encounters with the natural world around them. Aspen trees in a group are a family due to their being connected to a parent tree by their root systems. This painting is of a parent tree and it's off spring. (SOLD)
